Missverständnis - Misunderstanding
Vor ein paar Tagen:
Der Mann: ” Gibt’s hier irgendwo “Public Viewing”?”
Ich: “Ich glaube, offene Särge sind in Deutschland nicht mehr usus!”
The other day:
The husband: “Is there any public viewing around here?”
Me: ” I don’t think that open caskets are usual in Germany these days!”
Zu meiner Ehrenrettung muss ich sagen, dass mein Mann einen Hang dazu hat, Fragen aus dem Kontext zu stellen! Er war gerade dabei, die Zeitung zu lesen. (Er ist allerdings nicht makaber!)
To my honor I have to say that DH is asking questions out of the blue! He was reading the newspaper and I assumed he was reading the obituaries! (To be honest he is NOT morbid!)
